Mrs. Evelyn Camp Passes Nov. 30

Mrs. Evelyn Ruby Hamilton Reynolds Camp aka "Nanny", 85, of Dallas, Georgia passed away Monday, November 30, 2015.

Mrs. Camp was born September 4, 1930 in Marietta, Georgia, the daughter of the late Mr. Earnest Hamilton and the late Mrs. Ruby Owenby Hamilton. She had been a mill worker in her working years and for as long as her health permitted was a devoted member of Faith Missionary Baptist Church, Temple, Georgia. She was a woman of few words but had a huge heart full of love for her family and friends.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 25 years, Thomas E. Reynolds and then her husband of 16 years, Alfred Joe Camp, Sr. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Billy Hamilton and sister, Frances (Bunchie) Hooker.

She is survived by her step children, Joy McKune and husband Orlando of Dallas, Al Camp and wife Wilda of Acworth. Step grandchildren Kristi Cole, Kelli Massey and husband Eddie, Eric Camp and Alyssa Camp. Step great grandchildren Meagan Moore, Emily Woodruff, Skylar Massey, Braden Woodruff, Loren Whitehead and Hannah Whitehead. Nothing put a bigger smile on Evelyn's face than to be called "Nanny" by her grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister in law Brenda Camp Cole of Concord, NC, sister in law Gennell Camp of Dallas, brother, George Hamilton and wife Katie of Dallas, sister in law Laverne Hamilton of Mableton, several nieces and nephews.

Graveside services to be held Friday, December 4, 2015 at 11:00 am at Paulding Memorial Gardens Perpetual Care Cemetery with Reverend Micah Williams officiating.
