Mrs. Elizabeth Kathleen Meredith, age 96, of Powder Springs, GA is present with the Lord as of Tuesday, September 13, 2022.

She was born on March 15, 1926 in Abingdon, Virginia to the late Mr. David McHenry Powers and the late Mrs. Adell Shortt. Mrs. Meredith was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church in Hiram, GA. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Meredith was also preceded in death by her husband, Mr. Charles Edward Meredith; two sons, David F. Meredith and Allen G. Meredith; daughter, Kathy L. Burns; two grandsons, Brian S. Meredith and Michael A. Emory; great-granddaughter, Sarah L. Martin; two brothers, Bruce Powers and Billy Powers; two daughter-in-law's, Arlene Meredith and Valarie Meredith.

Survivors include her two sons, Gary Meredith (Jane) of Knoxville, TN and Wayne Meredith (Wanda) of Kansas City, MO; daughter, Carolyn Baldwin of Powder Springs, GA; brother, Mack Powers; three sisters, Willie Mae Houser, Margaret Houser, and Sue Baldwin all of Abingdon, VA; 15 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; 14 great-great-grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services for Mrs. Elizabeth Meredith will be held Saturday, September 17, 2022 at 2:45pm from Pleasant Grove Baptist Church with Pastor Mike Lee and Pastor Tom Grantham officiating. Interment to follow at Mozley Memorial Gardens. Pleasant Grove Baptist Church is located at 1167 Angham Rd. Hiram, GA 30141.

The family will receive friends at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church on Saturday, September 17th from 1:00pm until 2:30pm.
