Eleanor Jane(Paris) Talley passed away peacefully on Dec 28, 2022. Born on Oct 30, 1946 in Paulding County, Georgia, she graduated from Hiram High School as Valedictorian. After graduation she attended West Georgia College in Carrollton, Ga. and earned a degree in Business Administration. She completed her Masters in Library Science at the University of Tennessee in Knoxville and was an avid Vols and Atlanta Braves fan. She never met a book she didn't read, catalogue, or loan to others, as long as you promised to return it.

While living in Knoxville she met her husband Jim, a Math teacher at Doyle High School, where she was a Librarian for 21 years. Her retirement from Moses Middle School in 2012 in Paulding County gave her an opportunity to pursue her obsessive passion of gardening. Her bountiful day lilies, irises, and greenhouse perennials were her pride and joy.

Jane was a very kind and giving person to everyone she came in contact with. She was continuously donating to many different charities. She was for sure one of a kind and will be missed by everyone who knew her.

She is survived by her beloved husband James Talley of 37 years, her brother Jack (Terri) Paris, her sister Annette Paris Rankin, nephews Scott Eberhart and Justin (Chelsea) Paris, nieces Jodi Eberhart (Bob) Cyr and Brandi Kelly along with special great-nieces and nephews. She is pre-deceased by her parents, Hammett and Eleanor Paris and nephew Brandon McMichael. Her miniature chihuahua "Chico" is the last of a long list of dogs and cats that she lovingly rescued and made the world a better place.

In lieu of flowers, at Janes request, make donations to the Paulding County Animal Shelter.

A memorial service for family and friends will be scheduled at a later date.
