Mrs Dorothy Hardy Abernathy age 89 of Austell passed away Sunday July 3, 2016 Funeral Services will be held Saturday July 9th at 12:00 Bellamy Chapel Hiram Rev. Dennis Bellamy officiating. Interment at Rose Hill Cemetery.
The Family will receive visitors Saturday 10am until service time.
Mrs Abernathy was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Austell. She worked at Bell Bomber during WWII and then went to Georgia Power where she retired from in 1989.
She is preceded in death by her husbands Alvin Abernathy and Harold Hardy.
She is survived by 2 daughters Nancy Hardy of Austell and Susan McCarthy (Dana) of Kennesaw 1 sister Doris Knox of Augusta.
2 grandsons Ryan McCarthy of Duluth and Alex McCarthy of Kennesaw and Nieces and Nephews.
