Doris Jean Rogers, 69, born July 18th, 1949 died July 26th, 2018 in Marietta, GA. Her graveside funeral service will be held this Saturday, July 28th, 2018 at 11:00 AM at Powder Springs Memorial Gardens in Powder Springs, GA.
Doris was preceded in death by her parents Carl and Willie Pope, husband Harold Rogers, daughter Lisa Pearson, sister Carlene Campeau, and sister Marilyn Cabe. She is survived by her son Scott Rogers and his wife Cynthia Rogers, son Tim Rogers and his wife Lesley Rogers, nine grandchildren, and six great grandchildren. Doris is also survived by many brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, cousins, nieces and nephews.

Doris' occupation early in life was being a wonderful, full-time mother to her three children, and loving wife to her husband. Later in life she worked at AT&T for many years, and made many life-long friends. However, most people who knew Doris would say that her full-time job was doing absolutely anything for anyone at any time. She was incredibly giving of her time and her friends always mention that when talking about Doris.

Doris was a kind, generous soul who helped others without expecting anything in return, and the world is a better place for having her.
