Mrs. Doris Gloria Harper, age 89, of Cumming formerly of Hiram passed away December 19, 2018. Funeral Services will be held Friday at 2:00pm at Bellamy Funeral Home Hiram Chapel with Rev. Ray Vaughn officiating. Interment will follow at Paulding Memorial Gardens. The family will receive visitors Friday from 12-2:00pm at the funeral home.
Preceded in death by: Husband – Bill Harper; Granddaughter – Laura Rakestraw and Great Granddaughter – Kylie Lindsey
Survivors include: Daughters – Gail and Mickey Ferguson of Cumming and Diane and Larry Strickland of Villa Rica; Sons – Gary Rakestraw and Richard Rakestraw both of Villa Rica; 9 Grandchildren, many Great Grandchildren; Nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Harper was a member of Flint Hill Methodist Church, a homemaker, avid gardener, and loved the beach.
