Don  Sorrells, age 79, of Powder Springs, Georgia, passed away on Tuesday, August 26, 2025. He was born on April 8, 1946 in Atlanta, Georgia to the late, Hugh Dorsey and Erma Faye Harper Sorrells.

Hugh retired after 30 years working as a Data Processing Tech for Dobbins Air Force Base. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Powder Springs for 50 plus years where he was a Sunday School teacher and sang in the choir. He was a musician for years playing for many bands. He also volunteered for the city of Powder Springs and was a member of the Powder Springs Senior Center.

Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, September 9, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. from the Powder Springs Cemetery.

He is survived by many friends.
