Mr. Darrin "Joe" Stamper, age 71, passed away peacefully on January 13, 2023, after an extended illness in the hospital in Villa Rica, Georgia.

Joe was born in Ann Arbor, Michigan on May 17, 1951. He was preceded in death by his parents, Damon Stamper (Sybil); brother, Frankie Stamper, brother and sister-in-law, Michael and Kay Stamper; brother and sister-in-law, Shawnee and Diana Stamper.

He is survived by his son, David Scott Stamper of Kentucky; his beloved best friend, Delores Conkey of Stafford, United Kingdom; his loving sister, Madonna Turpin (Hal) of Temple, Georgia; uncle and aunt, Tommy McMurtry (Shirley) of Calvert City, Kentucky; as well as numerous cousins, nephews, nieces, great nephews, great nieces, and two great-great nieces.

A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, January 21, 2023 at 3:00pm from Peoples Baptist Church located at 201 Buchanan Street Dallas, GA 30132.

The family will receive friends at the church on Saturday from 2:00pm until 3:00pm.
