Ms. Daphne Alfrena Ray, age 63, of Powder Springs, GA passed away Saturday, April 27, 2024.

Ms. Ray was born on April 8, 1961 in Atlanta, GA to the late Mr. Henry Edwards and the late Mrs. Ruth Carroll Edwards. Daphne loved her grandchildren and the outdoors. Music was a big part of her life and she loved going to concerts. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her sister, Melba Taylor and nephew, Michael Taylor.

Survivors include her children, Cierra Ray (Melody) of Orlando, Florida, Timmy Ray (Lauren) of Canton, Michigan, David Ray (Danielle) of Cartersville, Amber Guy (Pete Jr.) of Powder Springs; brother, Preston Edwards of McDonough; grandchildren, Kailee, Jasmyn, Kinslee, Brantlee, Hunter, Jaxon, Jacob, Lyrik, Felicity, Albert, and Briana; great-grandchild, Macie.

Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, May 1, 2024 at 3:00pm from the Chapel of Bellamy Funeral Home with Rev. Dennis Bellamy officiating.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, April 30, 2024 from 5:00pm until 8:00pm.
