Mr. Danny M. "Ace" Turner age 69, of Dallas, passed away on Thursday, June 24, 2021, in Carrollton following a brief illness.

A native of Atlanta, Georgia, Mr. Turner was born on September 5, 1951, the son of the late Jimmy Rogers Turner and the late Linda Drake Turner. Mr. Turner proudly served his country during the Vietnam War serving in the United States Navy. He was a member of the Praise Tabernacle Baptist Church of Powder Springs and Nelms Masonic Lodge #323 F&AM. "Ace" as he was affectionately known by his friends, enjoyed hunting, fishing and riding Harley-Davidson motorcycles and was known for his famous beef jerky and his comical story telling. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 50 years, Judith Yvonne Fountain Turner in March 2019.

Survivors include his daughter and son-in-law; Monica & Nic Phillips of Dallas. One son; Jamie Madison Turner of Temple. Two sisters; Sharon (Harry) Bryson of Douglasville and Vicki (Steve) Hardin of Temple. One brother; Darryl (Toni) Turner of Savannah. Three grandchildren; Taylor Rakestraw (Jake), Lyndsey (fiancé, Austin Smith) Phillips and Caleb Madison Turner. One great grandson; James Weston Rakestraw. A number of nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services for Mr. Turner will be conducted on Sunday, June 27, 2021, at 3 p.m. from the Chapel of Bellamy Funeral Home with his pastor Tommy Chapman officiating. Military honors will be presented by the United States Naval Honor Guard.

The family will receive friends on Sunday from 2 p.m. until the funeral hour at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family lovingly requests that memorial contributions be made to the Shriner's Hospital of Atlanta.

On Tuesday, June 29, 2021, Mr. Turner's ashes along with his beloved wife's ashes will be buried at the Praise Tabernacle Congregational Methodist Church cemetery.
