Mr. Daniel Francis Olex, age 86, of Dallas, GA passed away Tuesday, April 16, 2024.

Mr. Olex was born on September 7, 1937 in Bridgeport, Connecticut to the late Mr. Frank J. Olex and the late Mrs. Mary Susan Gmitter Olex. Mr. Olex proudly served in the United States Navy and retired from the Navy after 28 years. He was a member of Knights of Columbus. He was of Catholic faith and attended St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Dallas. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his wife, Barbara A. Olex and his brother-in-law, Gary D. Wolfe.

Survivors include his son, Daniel J. Olex of Dallas; daughter, Cynthia Hall (Scott) of Blackfoot, Idaho; sister, Mary Susan Wolfe of Pennsylvania; grandchildren, Mary Beth Grajeda (Tyler) and Trina Wilson.

A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, May 4, 2024 at 2:00pm from the Chapel of Bellamy Funeral Home.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, May 4, 2024 from 1:00pm until the service hour.
