Mr. Clemond Mitchell, age 90, of Powder Springs passed away Monday, May 17, 2021.

Mr. Mitchell was born on October 15, 1930 to the late Richard Carl Mitchell and the late Emily Parsons Mitchell. Mr. Mitchell was an avid Braves fan and all-around sports fan. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Powder Springs. He was preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Emily Mitchell.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Barbara Jean Mitchell of Powder Springs; son, Richard Earl Mitchell (Joyce) of Robbinsville, NC; two grandsons, Ryan Mitchell (Nicki) and Sam Jarrard Mitchell (Amanda); eight great-grandchildren.

A Graveside Service will be held Friday, May 21st at Sunrise Memorial Gardens at 12:00pm with Rev. Alan Davis officiating.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, May 21st from 10:00 am until 11:30 am.
