Mr. Clayton Lee Smith age 87 of Clarkdale passed away Saturday July 2, 2016 Funeral Services will be held Wednesday July 6th at 2:00pm Bellamy Chapel Hiram. Pastor David Gresham officiating. Interment at Powder Springs Memorial Gardens. The family will receive visitors Tuesday at the funeral home 2pm-8pm.
Mr. Smith was retired from Coats & Clark Threadmill. He is preceded in death by his wife Mary Standard Smith his son Ronald Smith and brother James Smith.
Survivors include 2 daughters Darlene Paris (Bill) of Dallas and Brenda Bailey of Clarkdale. 6 sisters; Hazel Atcheson, Bonnie Shead, Geraldine Cash, Sandra Baird all of Dallas, Pat Rutledge of Snellville, and Betty Jean Hester of Powder Springs. 1 brother Calvin Smith. 5 grandchildren and their spouses, 8 great grandchildren & Spouses and 11 great great-grandchildren.
