Mrs. Christie Lynn Sorrells, age 52, of Powder Springs, GA passed away Friday, March 28, 2025.

Mrs. Sorrells was born on February 6, 1973 in Carroll County to Mr. Danny Hicks and Mrs. Dixie Holden Hutcheson. Christie enjoyed traveling with her husband to the Biltmore, which was their home away from home. She also enjoyed going to the beach and playing with her grandbabies. She was preceded in death by her father, Danny Hicks and twin daughters, Courtney Lynn Applewhite and Vicki Dawn Applewhite.

Survivors include her husband of 13 years, Steve Sorrells of Powder Springs; children, Sean Sorrells of Dallas, Brittany Applewhite of Dallas, and Taylor Sorrells of Dallas; four grandchildren, Kevin, Jaxxon, Daniel, and Raider; mother, Dixie Hutcheson of Rockmart; two sisters, Shona Wright and husband Matt and Wendy Hicks of Powder Springs.

A Memorial Visitation will be held Saturday, April 5, 2025 from 2:00pm until 4:00pm at Bellamy Funeral Home.
