In Loving Memory of Mrs. Charlene Bernadette Pyles

Born on June 09, 1950 in Rocky Mount, NC to the late Charlie and Ida Cotton, Charlene Bernadette Pyles peacefully passed away at the age of 73 on August 15, 2023 at Paulding Hospital in Hiram, GA.

Charlene was a beloved wife to David Pyles for 38 wonderful years, and their journey together was adorned with California sunshine, gentle bay breezes, and long lasting commitment. They began their retirement years together when relocating from Foster City, California to Hiram, Georgia in 2016.

Known for her infectious smile, compassionate spirit, and strong desire to be a blessing to others, Charlene touched the lives of all fortunate enough to know her. Her devotion to family, unwavering commitment to helping others, and deep love for Jesus Christ defined her life's path. As she moves on, her legacy of love, kindness, and cherished memories will continue to brighten the lives of those she encountered. Though she may be physically absent, her light will forever shine.

Charlene leaves behind a beautiful legacy. She lovingly embraced her nephew and niece, Andre Cooper and Monique Thomas as her own surrogate children, showering them with a lifetime of love, care and affection. Her sisters JoJo Cooper and Sonya Tarver (husband Larry Tarver), stepson Darren Pyles (Anna Pyles), granddaughter Isabella Pyles and grandson Julian Pyles and a wide circle of other relatives and friends are left to treasure her memory.

In our hearts, Charlene Bernadette Pyles will always remain an enduring source of love, strength, and inspiration.

A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, September 30, 2023 at 12:00pm from the Chapel of Bellamy Funeral Home.
