Rev. Carson Luther Brown, age 73, of Douglasville passed away November 6, 2017. Funeral Services will be held Saturday at 1:00pm at Powder Springs Church of God with Rev. Jeff Vaughn, Rev. Greg Baird and Rev. Tim Cornett officiating, Instate from 11:00am - 1:00pm. Entombment will follow at Sunrise Memorial Gardens.

Survivors include: Wife - Sue Brown of Douglasville; Daughters - Pamela and Steve Fox of Douglasville and Kelly and Jeff Vaugn of Douglasville; Sisters - Carol and Roger Hyatt of Copperhill, TN and Sherry and Doug Smith of Turtletown, TN; Brother - James Brown of Turtletown, TN; 4 Grandchildren - Zachary Fox, Coltan Vaughn, Connor Fox, and Sophia Vaughn; 2 Great Grandchildren - Maria Fox, Everett Fox; Nieces and Nephews.

Rev. Carson L. Brown, born in Turtletown TN to Olen Bradford and Viola Brown, was loved by all. In 1969 he was saved and lived his life for the Lord. He was called to the Ministry and preach the gospel. He had a Prison ministry, nursing home service, ran revivals. Then he was called to be a pastor. He pastored the Powder Springs Church of God for 33 years.
