Mr. Byron "Big Al" Allen, age 71, of Dallas, GA passed away Sunday, November 17, 2024.

Mr. Allen was born on March 9, 1953 in Austell, GA to the late Mr. Roy Allen and the late Mrs. Helen Christine Puckett Allen. Byron retired after 37 years working for Lockheed as an auto mechanic. He loved to ride his Harley Davidson and loved to bowl. He also made leather goods. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his nephew, Steven Staples.

Survivors include his wife of 48 years, Rita Allen of Dallas; sisters, Donna Jones (Walter) of Roanoke, VA, Connie Ogle (Jack) of Dallas, and Debbie Fotschky (Joe) of Duluth; niece, Shelly Roberts (Bobby) of Douglasville; nephew, Brent Jones (Katie) of Allentown, PA; niece, Laura O'Dell (Derek) of Roanoke, VA; as well as several great nieces, nephews and great-great nieces, nephews also survive.

Funeral Services will be held Thursday, November 21, 2024 at 2:00pm from the Chapel of Bellamy Funeral Home with Pastor Roger Murdock officiating. Interment to follow at Rose Hill Cemetery in Austell, GA.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, November 21, 2024 from 12:00pm until 2:00pm.
