Mrs. Brenda Parks Shook, age 75, of Lithia Springs passed away Sunday, November 12, 2023.

Mrs. Shook was born on August 23, 1948 in Ellijay, GA to the late Mr. Wayne J. Parks and the late Mrs. Nellie Fowler Parks. Brenda was of Baptist faith and enjoyed singing, playing the piano, and sewing. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her two children, John Daniel Shook and Stacy Shook Thrasher.

Survivors include her husband of 51 years, John Shook of Lithia Springs; daughter, Kendra Lee Holcomb (Joe) of Hiram; son, James K. Shook of Hiram; brother, Dwayne Parks (Nancy) of Dalton, GA; grandchildren, Noah Shook, Jonah Shook, Dakota Callahan, Matthew Holcomb, Luke Holcomb, Jessica Cagliani, Heather Shook, Kayla Shook, Ashley Grizzle, Bradley Thrasher, and Alisha Thrasher; twelve great-grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be held Friday, November 17, 2023 at 2:00pm from the Chapel of Bellamy Funeral Home with Evangelist John Shook, Pastor Joe Holcomb, and Mr. James Shook officiating. Interment to follow at Mozley Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, November 16th from 5:00pm until 8:00pm.
