We are sad to announce the passing of Brenda Martin Kemp of Dallas, Georgia, on Sunday, October 22, 2023. She died at the age of 73 with her loved ones surrounding her as she finished her battle with cancer. Brenda was preceded in death by her mother, Jane Martin; her sisters, Jane Stone, Ann Johnson, and Nancy Barrett; her brother, Johnny Martin. Brenda was a devoted wife, loving mother, and grandmother. She will be missed by many.

She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Larry Kemp of Carrollton, Georgia and her two children, Melissa Kemp of Dallas, Georgia and Thomas Kemp of Cartersville, Georgia. Brenda was blessed to have six grandchildren, Andrew Kemp, Chris Hinton, Amanda Kemp, Marcus Kemp, Jessie Kemp, and Gabriel Kemp and was expecting a great-grandson, Tobias due in December. She is also survived by her brother-in-law, Curtis Barrett of Marietta, Georgia; sister-in-law, Jan Martin of Kingston, Georgia; as well as many nieces and nephews that she loved.

A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, October 31, 2023 at 2:00pm from the Chapel of Bellamy Funeral Home with Pastor Jeff Pence officiating.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, October 31st from 1:00pm until 2:00pm.
