Ms. Betty Ann Rogers, age 82, of Murphy, North Carolina passed away Monday, February 12, 2024.

Ms. Rogers was born on July 29, 1941 in Saunook, N.C. to the late Mr. Dillard Rogers and the late Mrs. Anna Mae Downs Rogers. Ms. Rogers worked as a secretary for Dave Wilbanks Realty. She was of Baptist faith and enjoyed gardening, cooking, canning, baking, eating, and bluegrass gospel music. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her siblings, Linda Rogers, Harold Rogers (Doris), and Jerry "Jug" Rogers.

Survivors include her brother, Paul Rogers (Karen) of Murphy, N.C.; sister, Shirley Rogers of Murphy, N.C.; sister-in-law, Sandra Rogers of Lithia Springs, GA; as well as many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.

Funeral Services for Ms. Rogers will be held Saturday, February 17, 2024 at 2:00pm from the Chapel of Bellamy Funeral Home with Rev. Dennis Bellamy officiating and Andy Rogers, Scott Rogers, Joshua Rogers, Michael Mayotte, Matthew Mayotte, and BJ Taylor serving as pallbearers. Interment to follow at Powder Springs Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, February 17th from 12:00pm until 2:00pm.
