Betty Hurst of Acworth, passed away at Redmond Hosptial, Floyd Co., July 2, 2023 at the age of 91. She was born on June 14, 1932 in Canton, GA to the late Winton A and Ara Mae Worley

She was preceded in death by her husband of 31 years, James Hurst, son Doug, and son-in-law James Konecny.

She is survived by two daughters, Becky (Cliff) Kuykendall of Cherry Log and Lynn Konecny of Trion, brother, James Worley of Cedartown, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

A special thank you to all of her friends at Walton Overlook.

The family will have a private memorial service at a later date.

Per her wishes, her ashes will be buried at Sunrise Memorial Gardens.
