Mrs. Bertha Pauline Progen, age 84, of Austell, GA passed away Wednesday, December 7, 2022.

Mrs. Progen was born on July 29, 1938 in Camden, New Jersey. Mrs. Progen was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Powder Springs. She was active in her church and served in different church organizations. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Waino Richard Progen; mother, Rachel Craig Martin Kelley; son-in-law, Michael Pelley; as well as her brothers and sisters.

Survivors include her two daughters, Karen Pelley of Austell and Brenda Wrixon (Ken); five grandchildren, Derek Pelley, Jonathan Pelley, Stacy Smith (Todd), Craig Wrixon (Carrie), and Megan Wrixon; six great-grandchildren.

A Graveside Service will be held Monday, December 12, 2022 at 12:00pm from Paulding Memorial Gardens with Bishop Philip Kelly officiating. Interment to follow at the cemetery.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
