Mrs. Barbara Ann Shelton, age 72, of Foley, Alabama passed away Thursday, May 9, 2024.

Mrs. Shelton was born on October 13, 1951 in Atlanta, GA to the late Mr. Robert Lee Jenkins and the late Mrs. Frances Eloise Post Jenkins. Barbara loved sitting on her back porch listening to music. She enjoyed talking on the phone with her son and her sisters. She was a great caretaker and a loving mother. She was the life of the party, loved making people smile, and loved Elvis Presley. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her son, Rodney Shelton.

Survivors include her husband, George Steadham of Foley, Alabama; son, Brandon Shelton of Douglasville; grandson, Eric Shelton (Brittany) of Paulding; great-grandson, Brooks Shelton of Paulding; daughter-in-law, Dawn Shelton of Paulding; sisters, Dolores Burns of Woodstock, Judy Cochran of Mableton, Diane Sexton of South Carolina, and Pat Jordan of Douglasville; brothers, Terry Jenkins of Carrollton and Jeff Jenkins of Haralson; as well as several nieces, nephews, and cousins also survive.

A Memorial Service will be held Sunday, May 19, 2024 at 3:00pm from the Chapel of Bellamy Funeral Home.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday, May 19, 2024 from 2:00pm until 3:00pm.
