Mrs. Barbara Jean Roney, age 83, of Dallas passed away on Friday, September 3, 2021.

Mrs. Roney was born on October 7, 2021 to the late Mr. Marcus Calvert Gray and the late Mrs. Ruby Pauline Cothran Gray. Prior to her retirement, Mrs. Roney was employed as a bus driver with the Fullerton School District. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Dallas, GA. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Roney was also preceded in death by her husband, Mr. Cyril Roney Sr.; two brothers, Calvin William Gray and Roy Charles Gray.

Mrs. Roney was survived by her daughters, Elizabeth Carroll (David) of Elsberry, MO, Rhonda Severtson (Charles) of Dallas, and Cheri Leeman of Dallas; sons, Cyril Roney (Angela) of Daly City, CA and Harold (Liliana) Roney of Provo, UT; brothers, Marcus Gray of Chico, CA and Gary Gray of Wasilla, AK; nineteen grandchildren; twenty-one great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be held Monday, September 6th at 11:00am from the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Dallas, GA with Bishop James Kelly and Mr. Harold Roney officiating. Interment will follow at Riverside National Cemetery in Riverside, CA.
