Mrs. Barbara Ann McElhannon, age 59, of Winston passed away Monday, October 11, 2021.

Mrs. McElhannon was born on January 8, 1962 to the late Mr. Eugene Smith Sr. and the late Mrs. Patricia Ann Orr Smith. Mrs. McElhannon enjoyed playing Bingo, crocheting, and loved her grandkids. In addition to her parents, Mrs. McElhannon was also preceded in death by her husband, David McElhannon Sr.

Survivors include her daughter, Stephanie Edmondson (Nicholas) of Powder Springs; three sons, Christopher Durbin (Kelly) of Smith Station, AL, David McElhannon Jr. (Christy) of Carrollton, and Brandon McElhannon (Michelle) of California; two sister, Annette Jenkins (Jim) of Douglasville and Teresa Gallimore (Michael) of Winston; two brothers, Eugene Smith Jr. (Tammy) of Tallapoosa and Barry Smith of Winston; sixteen grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Service will be held Friday, October 15th at 7:00pm from Connection Pointe Church of God with Pastor Tony Evans officiating. Prior to the service, Mrs. McElhannon will be cremated.

In Lieu of Flowers the family asks that donations be made to an organization benefiting children with cancer.
