Barbara Lynn Longamore, beloved wife and mother passed away at home on August 29th 2016. Barbara fought a long battle with Multiple Sclerosis. A Funeral Mass will be held Thursday at 12pm at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church with Father Adrian officiating.

She is survived by her husband of 37 years, Merrill "Steve" Longamore; her four daughters Danielle Longamore of Dallas, Nicole Holcomb (and husband Clayton Holcomb) of Japan, Gabrielle Longamore (and fiancé Brad Busby) of AL, and Katarina Longamore of Austell; grandson Joseph Bradly Busby, Jr; two sisters, Wendy Kohanski (and husband Jack Kohanski) of Ohio and Kathy-Ann Smith (and husband Randy Smith) of NC as well as numerous nieces and nephews that she loved dearly. She is preceded in death by her parents Kathryn and Allen Gerke, and her sister Valarie Fall.

Barbara will forever be remembered by her kindness of heart, grace of spirit, and beautiful soul. She was always willing to help anyone who needed it, had open arms for a hug or a shoulder to cry on, a sharp wit and an indomitable spirit. In short, she was simply the best woman we have ever known.
