Mr. Alan Steven Keaton, age 72 of Douglasville, Georgia, died Friday, December 25, 2020.
A native of Villa Rica, GA., Alan was born on June 27, 1948, the son of the late Ralph Keaton, Sr. and Lillian Camp. Alan lived most of his life in the Douglasville area and served as lead singer for the West Texas Music Club Band as well as other country music bands. He loved fishing, music and singing.
Survivors include his son and daughter in law; Kelly and Jasmin Keaton of Snellville, Ga. Two stepsons; Jimmy Parton and Curtis Hudgins. One brother, Ralph Keaton, Jr. His uncles who Alan grew up with, Alvin Daniell and Hulon Daniell along with his former spouse and best friend, Rhonda Hudgins. One grandson, Matthew Keaton.
Graveside services for Mr. Keaton will be conducted on Monday, December 28, 2020 from the Paulding Memorial Gardens with Pastor Rusty Kennedy officiating.
The family will have a private visitation on Monday prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Douglas County Humane Society in memory of Mr. Keaton thereby supporting Alan's love of animals.
Bellamy Funeral Home has charge of the arrangements for Mr. Alan Steven Keaton of Douglasville.
