John David Scoggins age 67 of Marietta passed away Saturday May 18, 2013. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00pm Thursday May 23 at the Bellamy Funeral Homes Chapel in Powder Springs. Pastor Larry Ritch Officiating. Interment will follow at Powder Springs Cemetery. The family will receive visitors from 6pm-8pm, Wednesday May 22 at Bellamy Funeral Homes Powder Springs. Survivors Include: Wife Jeri Scoggins of Marietta. 1 Daughter: Sharon Scoggins (Richard Hurst) of Hiram. 1 Son: Joshua (Amanda) Scoggins of Dallas. 2 Sisters: Jimmie Sue Herndon of Breman and Angel Johnson of Tallapoosa. 1 Brother: Ronnye Thompson of Tallapoosa. 2 Grandchildren: Trent and Braeden Scoggins. Preceded in death by his son, John David Scoggins Jr.

Gladys Hill, age 95 of Cupertino California died May 9th 2013.  Funeral Services will be held Friday May 24th at 2:00pm in Bellamy Chapel Powder Springs.  Rev. George Wannamaker officiating.  Interment at Powder Springs Cemetery.  The Family will receive visitors Friday 12 to 2pm at the funeral home.

Delores Sibert, age 46 of Hiram died Wednesday May 15, 2013.  Funeral Services will be held Tuesday at 1:00pm at Bellamy Chapel Hiram.  The Family will receive visitors Tuesday at the funeral home from 11am to 1pm.

Survivors include; 3 daughters; Amber Sibert, Amanda Sibert and Ashley Taylor.

1 son Kyle Sibert and 2 sisters Betty Laborde and Anita Rhoten.

Margaret Ann Toth age 94 of Powder Springs died Sunday May 19, 2013.  A Graveside Service will be held Wednesday May 22 at 12:00pm at Kennesaw Memorial Park. The family will receive visitors Wednesday May 22 from 9am-11am at Bellamy Funeral Homes Powder Springs.

Melanie Lynn Holt, age 52 , left for her Heavenly home on May 12,2013.  She was born in Atlanta, Fulton County, GA.  She was a 1979 graduate of Pebblebrook High School and a 2005 graduate of HMI as a Certified Massage Therapist. 

    She is preceded in death by her father Mack Charles Holt.

    Survivors include 2 sons, Joseph Tyler White (Mapley), Copperas Cove, TX and Jordan Patrick White of Woodstock.  Mother; Martha Braswell Riggins (Harvey) of Douglasville, sister Melinda Holt Davis  (Douglas) of Mableton, brother Matt C. Holt (Sherry) of Dallas, step-brother Harvey Riggins Jr. (Robin), of Douglasville, step-sisters Theresa Fowler (Derrick) of Dallas and Angie Turner of Douglasville, 2 step-grandsons, of Copperas Cove TX.  She is also survived by aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

    Melani was a dedicated, loving mother.  She was a loving daughter, and a devoted sister and loyal friend.  After a long battle with a malignant brain tumor she has received her ultimate healing sitting at the feet of Jesus.

    Per her request her body was donated to science in hopes that she would be instrumental in finding a cure for brain cancer.  In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to the American Cancer Society in her memory or to the Melanie Holt Memorial Nursing Scholarship fund.

    A Memorial Service will be held at Bellamy Chapel Hiram Thursday May 23rd at 7:00pm.  The Family will receive friends from 5pm until the time of service.
